OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
At St. Luke’s, we take every opportunity to love our neighbor. Below are many wonderful ways to serve our local community in Midland.
FAMILY PROMISE
Our church is able to host families in transition 2-3 times a year. Opportunities to volunteer include providing meals, hosting in the evenings and/or staying overnight.
Learn more about Family Promise by visiting their national website.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
We have provided labor and funds to help build Habitat homes for many deserving families in Midland for many years.

AMOS
Area Mission Outreach Services provides emergency assistance for Midland families. We are able to help AMOS with food drives to restock their pantry and gather gently used clothing that can be dropped off at the church. St. Luke's also has a garden at the Thompson House which enables us to donate fresh produce to AMOS's food pantry.
NEIGHBORHOOD OUTREACH
Summer Food Program: We partner with ROPE Youth to provide a healthy meal for families during one week of the summer.
Christmas In Action: We work to help repair and maintain a house every spring so that low-income elderly and disabled homeowners can continue to live independently.
Meals on Wheels: May is St. Luke’s month at Meals on Wheels
Carnival: The first Sunday of the month of October is Carnival at St. Luke’s where we provide games, jumpers, entertainment, and food for our friends and neighbors in the community.
Pumpkin Patch: During October St. Luke’s is known as the Pumpkin Patch church. Enjoy the day with photos and pumpkins galore! All proceeds from pumpkin sales are returned to Outreach ministries directly benefiting the community.
